Tradewinds was a very nice place to stay. The room was clean, everyone there was very helpful. View was beautiful. We were very happy to have a room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The weather didn't cooperate real well for us but that was all due to mother nature. We would very much stay there again.

We stayed in St. Pete for the first time recently and went with the Tradewinds as it was the cheapest reasonably reviewed property near our destination. We were greeted throughout the property by the staff whenever we were out and about. The room was exactly as pictured. The pools etc were also all fantastic, and most overlook the ocean. It was a truly enjoyable experience. The only real "gotcha" is the $* per day resort amenity fee. The resort food is also pretty pricey. Keep these in mind if you're on a budget. If you have a rental car to get out to eat or to a grocery store for snacks for your room you'll be thankful for it. Would definitely consider staying again on our next trip to the area.

The hotel is right on the beach which is great, but it is not as well maintained as I rmembered from two years ago. The adult pool is full of drunk 40-55 year olf women (and some men trying to pick them up) pretending that they are young again. The Cincinnati Girls were there when we were and after they got to the QUIET ADULT pool, you couldn't stand to be there.

Wow! This was my first time in Florida and first time seeing the ocean and let me tell you, It was FANTASTIC! Tradewinds resort is in such a beautiful location it felt like paradise. Upon arriving, we were immediately met at the car by a bell hop to help us with our bags. We upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite for a very reasonable price. The room was so comfortable, not that we were there alot. There was SO much to do during the day that I rarely had time to just relax, which isn't a bad thing. My 9 yr old boy and 11 yr old girl had the time of thier lives! On certain nights they had a Dive ; movie where they showed a movie on a big screen while the kids watched and swam. They had contests at the pool, paddleboats that went around the resort, arts and crafts for the kids, and the best, The 3 story slide on the beach! Although it was a little pricey a day per kid; It was a blast! I am 31 and I did it with my kids....ALL day! The staff was super friendly and helpful. My mother went back for a second vacation 2 months after we got home! We are planning on coming back next summer and we can not wait!! THANK YOU TRADEWINDS!!!!
