The hotel will be under renovations beginning July 7, 2008 through August 8, 2008. It will include the lobby floor and elevators, leaving only one in service at a time. All Marriott Brands in North America, with the exception of Marriott Vacations Club International, have a smoke-free policy. Guests are permitted to smoke in designated areas outside the building.

Courtyard by Marriott New York Manhattan Fifth Avenue is within walking distance of the New York Public Library, Bryant Park, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Broadway's Theater District, Grand Central Station, and the Empire State Building.

Visit the trendy Salmon River Restaurant & Bar featuring American cuisine with a seafood focus. Valet parking is available for 55 per day. Self parking is available two blocks away on E. 38th St.
