Our family of four spent the weekend here and had the BEST time!!! The service was exactly what you would expect from the Ritz-Carlton with the added bonus of being very family friendly!! They even have a kids check-in at the front desk that my daughters loved!! The room was beautiful and extremely clean. We ordered pizza from room service and it was presented like a 5 star meal!!! We like that they share facilities with the JW Marriott and thoroughly enjoyed the lazy river!! The grounds are gorgeous and very serene. We highly recommend the breakfast buffet at the Vineyard Grill!!! FYI- The room came with two adult bathrobes but you can request child size ones which were just too cute!! We can't wait to return!!!!

THIS HOTEL IS NICE BUT VALET ONLY PARKING AND YOU GET CHARGED EXTRA PERDAY , WIRELESS INTERNET BUT YOU GET CHARGE PER DAY WATCH YOUR CC BECAUSE WE GOT CHARGED A SEPARATE CHARGE THAT I DO NOT KNOW WHAT FOR MAYBE THE SOAP OR TOILET PAPER

I booked two nights to celebrate my wife's birthday, and we had a fantastic time together. We ate at both restaurants, which were outstanding. Norman's Restaurant served one of the best meals we have ever had. The Ritz always goes out of their way to make special celebrations memorable, and the Orlando Ritz was no exception. We spent a day at the Spa, had a massage, and enjoyed a day by the spa pool together. The quality and level of service is second to none. We hope to return soon for another weekend together.

We only stayed one night; however, the room rate for the level of service was exceptional. Only negative was the breakfast. We had three in our room, and we received free breakfast for two, which wasn't bad, but the order placed for a non buffet meal took forever to get. It was delicious, but should not have taken over half an hour to receive. It was like the waitress forgot that I had placed an order. I would definitely recommend that you make reservations though, it was a 15 minute + wait. Pool was lovely, and there were a lot of lounge chairs to accommodate everyone. I used the late check-out option which was really nice. It seemed a lot of people did the same thing, so there was a 20 minute wait to have the car brought around. A hotel employee brought cold bottled water to everyone, so it wasn't horrible to wait in the Florida heat to get your car. The hotel does have a free shuttle bus that takes you to area attractions, but they are for set times, so if you are not flexible, then expect to pay at least $* for a town car to take you to your destination (if you do not want to drive yourself). Disney hotels and Loew's hotels (Universal Studios) were priced higher than the Ritz, but I don't think they could rival the service provided by the Ritz.

This hotel is mostly geared for the business traveler. The staff needs to pay better attention to detail, like request for turndown service promised, but not done. Can only valet park your car, which can be a wait during checkout. The pool at JW Marriott is better for kids, as well as their volleyball grounds. The food was pricey, but excellent.
