We just came back from pensacola, we stayed there for father's day weekend, the hotel is very nice, clean rooms, nice staff, very helpful, and the pools are wonderful. The breakfast in all you can eat buffet, it has everything, I was very pleased with it.

Where do I begin?! The hotel staff was excellent! From providing info on places to eat to remembering my son's name to having an answer for any question we could think of! They were very friendly and inviting. The hotel was completely booked( for a marathon I believe), but we would never have realized it if we weren't told so. There was never a lot of traffic in the hotel or even on the beach! Speaking of the beach, chair rentals were available all day and my kids loved how we were able to easily break up beach time and pool time. The pool area was very convenient with two adult pools and a kiddie pool that would entertain even older kids. I thought I was missing out on not getting the gulf view, but came to realize that we actually had the best view in the hotel. The ""partial"" view we signed up for turned out to be the entire stretch of the island including the sunrise over the gulf! Even though it was cloudy, the sunrise was beautiful and I woke up just to see the sight. The breakfast buffet was excellent also with lots of variety. You could choose anything from hot breakfast to donuts to waffles to yogurt. Something for everyone! I wish we could have stayed longer but I have no doubt where we'll stay next time we visit Pensacola Beach!

This hotel was wonderful. We had our 4 children with us that are all under the age 8. The rooms are very spacious and the view is beautiful. The pools were outstanding. I have never seen a baby pool at any hotel like this. It was huge and had fountains and buckets for the kids to play under. Plus you looked right at the beach while sitting at the pool. The breakfast was unbelievable. So much to choose from that you could have a different combination of things everyday. The staff was so friendly. Lunch was great at poolside cafe. Waiter service by the pool during the weekend. We also could order pizza from across the street or run to subway if you wanted something different. Housekeeping did a great job. The room was always clean. We would definitely stay again. One thing I would recommend if you are staying a long time, is to bring a foldable drying rack to put on the balcony for your swimsuits to dry. If you hang them on the rail they will blow away. On the chairs and then you have no where to sit.

Staff was friendly...outdoor cafe was great. Pools were excellent. Beach access good. Main issue was with housekeeping -- found used soap and washcloth in shower when we arrived....found items (sunglasses, etc.) left by previous guests that housekeeping obviously overlooked -- made us feel like rooms hadn't been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. Had to make requests for linens for fold-out couch, toilet paper, drinking glasses. One day maids didn't even come to room. Bathroom was an issue -- odors came from drain when shower was used...toilet backed up and we had to go downstairs to public bathroom overnight because there was no maintenance available until next day. Other than these issues, stay was okay because we spent as little time in the hotel as necessary.

The rooms are as beautiful as the pictures portray them to be, we stayed 6 nights in 511, great view of both ocean and sound, quiet and beautiful sunrise pics, 1 night across the hall in 510 it also was quiet sleeping, we had great ocean and pool view, awesome view of fireworks, both rooms were very clean and linens sooo soft . Family resort, altho LOTS of kids it was quiet at night. From the time we stepped into the lobby NO reservations, to the day we left we witnessed so many acts of kindness from the staff, the tireless lady who kept the floors dry in the lobby (and elevators)from kids and irresponsible adults returning from the beach with sand and water soaked flotation devices. The wonderful FULL breakfast (SUPER GRITS} the staff kept the tables cleaned and food refreshed. The pool staff was constantly picking up as guests would leave empty cups by the pool and towels by the showers at the beach. We really relaxed and enjoyed the pampering recieved from the front desk to the bartenders...........GREAT job by EVERYONE. We WILL be back.
