What a deal! We had fully furnished one bedroom apt. We had a full bath off the master and a half bath with shower. All rooms are facing ocean front. The beds were very comfortable. We had a washer/dryer in room, dishwasher, stove, fridge, coffee pot, and all the kitchen supplies. Could live there. We had all the access to the Dom Cesar but no need to go, our pool and beach were awesome. I can not say enough about the staff, they were all so friendly and helpful. The place was so clean. I highly recommend and would go back. Great location, and they also allow dogs.

The rooms were ""efficient"" in size. By that I mean not a square foot was wasted. In fact there were no rectangular rooms because that would have wasted corners. The front desk was friendly. The beach was cleaned every morning, wide and inviting. We had a great view from the balcony. The kitchen had new appliances. The pool was a good sizeand the grounds were well kept. Our only complaint would be the extra ""resort fee"" which came to about $25/day with taxes since these included either things that other hotels did not charge for (local phone, parking) or facilities we did not use (in Don Cesar's other hotel).

It's tough to decide about beach hotels on the web, but we were very pleased with this hotel. We booked three rooms on different sites, with one reservation requesting placement near each other. The front desk had all three rooms together, and said we had received an upgrade too. We ended up with queen suites with a master bedroom and bath, a second bath, sitting area & dinette, small but full-size kitchen and balcony. The rooms had a washer & dryer, full-size fridge, stove and dishwasher. And free wi-fi! Registration has a small stock of snacks and other supplies too. Note: this hotel has exterior doors. As the other reviews suggest, decor is quite dated but it all goes together (it is not a hodge-podge), and the rooms are very clean and smell fresh. It was nice to have the second bath for when family gathered in our room. Our south-facing rooms had views of the pool directly below, and the beach and Gulf beyond from our balconies. Beach access was easy, just a few steps past the pool. The pool was nice, and warm enough in the hot afternoon sun. On Thursday of our stay, we had the pool pretty much to ourselves, but by Saturday it was busy. Still plenty of lounge chairs for us, but lots more activity. I recommend a frozen drink from the pool bar! I was disappointed in the resort fee of $22 per day, for which I don't think we got much - it included things that should just be a part of the normal rate (like housekeeping). I thought I read somewhere that cabanas and chairs on the beach were included, but found they were an additional fee. It's not a luxury hotel, but it's great for families or extended stays.

Stayed with two children and my husband. Were moved after one night with no hassel or extra money due to reserving under a king and only a queen was availabe. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Right on the beach and they have beautiful views. Would definitely reccommend to anyone especially families. They have full kitchens and you have your own bathroom and seperate bedroom for privacy from the kids. Two tvs with one in the living room with the pull out sofa, a dining table and chairs, bar, full kitchen and seperate bathroom for the kids. A washer and a dryer.........real convenient with drying bathing suits and towels. Also a big furnished balcony. Pool and outside jacuzzi are clean and there are lots of lounge chairs available with an attendent on duty to help. Nice bar area. A great place called Undertow to eat next door that is very casual. Sam Seltzer Steakhouse has great food also. And the greatest thing is if you get bored there just call down for a van ride down to the Don Caesar just down the street and hang out there one day then walk the beach back to the Don Caesar Beachfront Suites. Because your stay also gets you access to the other hotel.

Loved this place! Great beach and pool. Dinner and Uncle Andy's ice cream at the Don CeSar was wonderful using the shuttle. Perfectly suited for our family and the staff was super. A big plus having a washer/dryer and full kitchen. We will definitely be back.
