When checking in I was told that since I bought through online travel website, they could not give me the non-smoking room I reserved because they were sold out. The room definitely smelled smoky and I will definitely go with Marriott in the future over Hilton since they are non-smoking. I was not aware that they could change the room type only because I reserved through online travel website.

This is a lovely hotel! Rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, quiet, clean, very comfortable. Food in restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced. Location is fantastic! Very close to I-75 and many, many restaurants and stores. Staff was helpful and courteous, no loud guests, vehicles, or parties. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to see the main attractions in Tampa - it is easy to get to and in a nice, rather secluded area. Perfect for relaxation and feeling pampered.

Our room was never vacuumed during our stay, and the beds were half made after our first day. Front desk was nice enough to compensate us with a free breakfast after we complained, but on our last day, our room was left unmade as if housekeeping staff wanted to express their disgruntlement.

Excellent stay. I do a lot of traveling and this was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at for the amount charged. Hotel was quiet, clean and staff very pleasant. Location was close to highways so getting around was no problem. I would definitely stay there again.
