I took my 13 year old daughter here last year. Perfect location. Central to restaurants and easy walking to shopping and Las Olas. We stayed 3 nights, never needed a car. The beach is just across the one-way blvd and easy to cross. You can see the ocean from the poolside bar lounge. The actual pool is down in this sunken part of the deck. Not too sunny there, and really just for dunking or if you have little kids who are water monkeys. The pool deck is huge with plenty of lounge chairs, several facing the ocean. Kind of thin walls. Our last night there, we had a really rude, loud neighbor. Had to call the lobby to get them to shut the guy up. Don't go during spring break. I wouldn't come near this area any time in March or early April ... unless I was a 21 year old college student again.

Booked this hotel for a friend travelling to Florida for the first time from Kansas in February 2008. The room was magnificent, the view spectacular and the service, superb. A short walk to fine restaurants, Las Olas and the beach is literally across the street. My favorite place to get away and hit the beach.

Can't get much closer to the beach and decent variety of bars/restaurants. Hotel was within easy driving distance to attractions. Staff was friendly and room was nice - we had a suite with 2 flat screens and a refrigerator. Nice outside bar and bartender. We would have been a little disappointed with the parking situation and valet if we weren't forewarned by other reviewers. The valet arrangement actually was nice and convenient. Overall a very nice experience.

My friends and I stayed here in May 2008 and forgot to write a review at the time, but I absolutely loved the courtyard by Marriott!!! Great Staff, Great room, great location, great price!!! We walked everywhere. The beach is right across the street! The woman, at the tiki bar, was very very nice! When we got there, they upgraded us to a room with a beautiful view! The manager of the hotel took pictures of all of us together and made CDs with the pictures on them! I would without a doubt stay there again! Had a great time! For the price, you cannot beat it!
