  We stayed overnight to do some fishing and sightseeing. Because of some of the other reviews I wasn't expecting much. But, when we got to our room we were pleasantly surprised. Our room had recently been renovated and was roomy, comfortable and clean. It had fresh paint, new beds and bedding including a new TV, Microwave, and Refrigerator. The bathroom was spotless with fresh fluffy towels! It's right across the road from the beach. The pool was clean. I didn't check out the hot tub. Our overall experience was much better than we expected. The only thing lacking was the continental breakfast. Cold cereal, muffins or Danish and bread to make toast was the faire. The drink machine wasn't working so unless you only wanted coffee you were out of luck. I would definitely come back, but, I would take advantage of the microwave and refrigerator in the room and skip the continental breakfast.

  The day time desk clerk was wonderful. But, at 2am I woke up and found COCKROACH'S in the powder room sink!!! I went to the night time desk clerk,and he said it was normal for FL!! I said that in 20yrs, I had never had a cockroach in my home, and he called me a LIAR! I had my bags packed, and left the hotel by 3am!!!! Bad night desk clerk!!!!! Could have handled situation better.

  Wasn't expecting the Ritz but at least thought the room would be clean. walked in the room and the smell was BAD mold in the bathrooom the door to the room was FILTHy. However the staff was very nice. So I guess for the price I got what I should have expected.

  We had a nice stay. The hotel was clean, the price was within our budget and the staff was great. There was a noisy group at the pool but we complained to the front desk and they took care of it. I think it is a great value.

  The room was absolutely in desparate need of repair. the sink counter was partly missing. the shower half worked, the outlets shorted out, remote was duct taped & didn't work. ...

  The room was absolutely in desparate need of repair. The sink counter was partly missing. The shower half worked, the outlets shorted out, remote was duct taped & didn't work. Rude lady clerk at night only said 2 words to us and the day clerk was the only awesome and helpful thing about the hotel. I will not stay again
