  The only friendly person employee was the maid. Desk clerk acted as if she was doing us a favor. Next to a medical center. Quit counting sirens during the night (over 100).
  
  Promised transportation from the ship to the airport (upon return). First refused to take us at all. Then was told they would take us only if we tipped (very well) the driver. Even then, were told the wait would be over an hour.
  
  Took a taxi instead.
  
  Homeless people right around the block.
