I would have to say you definitely get what you pay for. We arrived and were greeted by a very pleasant clerk at the front desk. Everything went smoothly, we went to are room and left our bags and went out to eat. When we came back to the hotel we decided we would take a dip in the indoor pool. It was nice in the fact that it was big and warm. What was not nice was the visible algae on the bottom of the pool in the deep end and on the floor throughout the pool deck. When we returned to our room to get showers we discovered there was no knob on the faucet in the tub therefore making it extremely difficult to regulate the temperature of the water. What I found under the mat in the tub was absolutely disgusting. It was covered in black and green mold. It would be fair to say that it hadn't been changed or cleaned properly in a very long time. The beds were hard and the bedding outdated. The continental breakfast consisted of cereal and dough-nuts that looked like they had been purchase out of a vending machine because they were the mini ones you would find in a gas station or vending machine. Needless to say we did not par-take in the breakfast. Upon our departure I would have to say that the lady that checked us out seemed like she didn't want to be there and was not very nice. I guess for the price we paid and considering we only had to stay one night it could have been worse but I would not recommend it to someone or go back for that matter.

We stayed here over a weekend in early October. I was skeptical because the price was so low, but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was. The rooms were relatively spacious and the bathroom was clean. It had a fridge and microwave. The game room is huge and the pool was nice. It's on a busy street, so there are tons of restaurants to choose from and you don't have to drive. The back side of the hotel faces a residential area, so we were able to go walking and bike riding without worrying about the traffic on the main road. My only two negatives were the bed was not very comfortable and the continental breakfast left much to be desired. We didn't bother to eat there since there's a pancake or waffle house at practically every street light. All in all, I'd definitely stay there again.

This was a Best Western when we booked it in April 2007. When we arrived (at 4:30 pm) we were told our room wouldn't be ready for a few hours. At that point, We had a severly ill toddler, a doctor on call who was waiting for us to find a pharmacy to call in a script. We asked the staff for assistance, and were TOSSED a phone book. I had to remind them that since I was VISITING, I might not know which pharmacies would be local. When we finally did get checked in (6pm)our room was NOT what we booked. The suite with fridge and micro were "unavailable". After much discussion we were assigned adjoining rooms, and they carried a fridge and micro in for us. We were over charged, and the staff grumbled at us when we reviewed the bill. They did give us a night's credit for the errors. We were with out hot water one day, they said we could shower in a different unit if we'd like. FYI--bathrooms were filthy! We had to have housekeeping come in an I stood there to make sure she at least scrubed the toilet. Of course we had no housekeeping for two days after that. They did move us for the last two nights of our stay--a minisuite, which seemed cleaner. The outer corridors are dark, and there is no elevator. The Pool was nice, and the breakfast was ok.We called Best Western, as I know this is not their normal standard, and we were told they lost affiliation. Go figure. In case you are wondering why we didn't just move to a different hotel...they were all booked (easter), and the ones that weren't looked worse that this one! We are staying elsewhere this year,

When we called to confirm reservations the day before, the staff did not sound welcoming. We asked if we could check in a little early.. ans. NO. there was no I'm sorry we are unable to do that. Then when we checked in after the check in time, we had to wait until our rooms were ready. Have never been to a hotel that did not try to accomodate you.
The room inside was okay for the price, except for the mildew on the bathroom tile. If you sat at the end of one of the beds you sank, and the bed squeeked. It is though there may have been a board under the rest of the bed. The water was either hot or warm. If you wanted to brush your teeth, and use cold water you were out of luck. When you used the hair dryer all the lights dimmed. The clock had an incorrect time. At breakfast we were not greeted as you entered into the room. No one thanked us for coming.
We have stayed at lots of other economy places and had much niceer experiences, -
