I drove down eight hours to stay at this hotel with some friends. The woman who owns this place yelled at me after I went to the front office at 10:00 to ask for a blanket. The next day she wanted me off the property because I had woke her up for a blanket. Well my hair was soaking wet and I had no where to get dressed. I thought that the bell at the front office was for service. I left because it was her property, but I may contact the Better Business Bureau. I have never been treated so badly by anyone in my entire life, much less someone that was in hospitality services.

Room theft seems to be an issue here, hotel does not have insurance to cover guests, something I never realized I needed to check. After having items stolen from the room, while it was locked and we were away, we filed a police report. We had tried to work with the manager/owner, but were accused of offending his "family" of workers by insinuating they would steal. They NEVER give refunds regardless!

The carpet had not been vacumed (that was very evident), the tub was stained. I walked into the bathroom and there was an opened bar of soap! The little shampoo, cond and lotion bottles were obviously being refilled, and not given new ones. There was so much dust on the toilet paper holder you could write you name in it. The couch had holes in the fabric, I wondered if they really changed the sheets or not. You cannot walk to the beach from here. And the staff was not very nice.

The motel was nice. The room was average, nothing spectacular. The staf @ the motel was great, friendly and informative. They help us decide great places to eat, and helped us to enjoy our trip with out having to drive everywhere. they suggested the orange & green trolley tour service who had fantastic people.
