  i chose this particular hotel because of the price--very low and it stated it had a pool and a fitness center. they do NOT have a fitness center on-site and the pool was murky and cloudy. the continental breakfast was typical. no surprises there. the only positive thing was the staff was very nice and the INSIDE of my king size room was nice and obviously recently renovated. the outside of the hotel STILL needs renovating and if you are traveling alone it could be a little frightening.

  The employees were very pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. We were in Tallahassee on one of the coldest nights of this winter (so far). The heater worked very well and we got a wonderful night sleep. I would definitely stay re again.

  This hotel is very hard to find because it is hidden behind two other hotels and there is no sign on the main road to tell you where it is. ...

  This hotel is very hard to find because it is hidden behind two other hotels and there is no sign on the main road to tell you where it is. The front desk staff was very upbeat and friendly, both checking in and out. The Lobby area was nice and relaxing but our room, now that is another story. This hotel is very dated and our room was dark and stuffy, the beds were flat and very uncomfortable, it felt like we were sleeping on a box. The carpet was the worst! we did not want to take off our shoes. The only good thing about our stay was that it was close to my daughter's school and many restaurants. There are many nicer hotels nearby, I would not recommend this hotel.

• Avoid FSU "Parents Weekend

  This motel was really great but it was Florida State's Parent's Weekend and a FSU football game weekend and all hotels were either sold out or billing their rooms at two or more times the usual price. Can't blame them, supply and demand. I will try to stay at this motel in the future when I visit Tallahassee, as it is the best I've seen in a long time.
