I had stayed at this hotel before and was always happy, however, this last stay was horrifying! When I booked on the Marriott website nowhere did it mention construction? I arrived at the hotel late the first night and had not eaten all day. I thanked God that I had arrived before the 11 p.m cut off on room service until I learned the hotel was under construction and they could not cook anything. I could not sleep because of all of the noise in the lobby. Second day same story and here it is 12:30 a.m. and I cannot sleep because they are still sawing something in the lobby. I have called ?delighted to serve? and asked, ?are they really still sawing things in the lobby?? and was told ?yes?. When I mentioned that nowhere on the website was the construction noted I was told, ?I don?t know why you were not informed?? I am a Marriott member, and this may push me to find another chain.

Excellent stay
07/12/2007This is a beautiful hotel. the rooms are clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. the staff is friendly and helpful. i would definitely recommend it and go back.

I am a travel agent and wanted to get away for a few days. And yes I did. the service was excellent the rooms beautiful, clean, and calming. This is the first hotel that I have been in for years that has exceeded my expectations.Thank you to all of the staff at RRWG for making my stay wonderful and the price was perfect for any one in any stage of life. We came back in Spetmeber and it was just as beautiful as it was in April! Golf at King & Bear and Slammer & Squire was FANTASTIC! Wife loved the Spa - and so did I. Planning on a 3rd trip in 2006.
