Our room was located facing Cleveland Avenue (route 41). Our view was an Arby's restaurant, parking lot and traffic. The room showed its age. Wobbly ""dresser/TV stand"". I was concerned it might tip over. Air conditioning was so-so. Had it on high 24/7 for 7 nights. We did request a different room, but were told that since we had a package, they would not move us. There was a fridge, microwave and safe in our room. The layout was strange. There was no table to sit. No internet connection visible (as promised). There was an ironing board, but no iron. No telephone book. Bed was comfortable. The cleaning crew were excellent! Continental breakfast was a disappointment. They were supposed to have food available until 10 am. Every day, they ran out, except for waffle mix (excellent). Lobby was clean, with plenty of tourist information. We resigned ourselves that it was just a place to sleep.

Our family stayed for three days, we were looking for something not to far from the beach. We had about a 25 minute ride. When we came back to our room on the second day, there was an overwhelming smell of fiberglass, they had been installing new bath tubbs in some of the rooms. One room was directly above us. The lady at the front desk was very nice, and moved us to a room in completley different building. The rooms are definately old, with poor paint jobs and not the best showers, but every thing worked, and for the price we didn't really expect much. We felt secure enough in our room. If you are looking for an inexpensive motel, this one would probablly work for you. There is also a nice view of the Caloosahatchee River in the back of the hotel.
