My husband and I were married at the South Thompson Inn and Conference Centre on Saturday, September 27th, 2008. I could not have imagined a more beautiful spot to have our wedding and reception. We were married on the grass by the stable suites with the river in the background. The scenery was spectular for the ceremony and for pictures. After the wedding we rode around in the Inn's horse drawn carriage for our first few moments of being man and wife. The staff and the owners were extremely helpful to make sure our special day was just as we wanted it. They worked through every detail with us. We had the rehearsal dinner at the Inn the night before and the quality of the food for both nights was top notch. My Bridal party and I stayed at the Manor House which was perfect to have all of the women get ready together. The Groomsmen and my husband stayed at the Inn with all our guests. All of our guests were from out of town and the Inn was a wonderful place for them to stay. They all said they would be back. A guest even ttold me the Inn was magical. How wonderful for me to hear. It was important for my guests to enjoy themselves. I have a friend getting married next year and I will suggest they marry at the Inn. The rooms, the staff, the owners and the quality of food are 5 star. We cannot wait to go back for our first Anniversary! When we do, we will have time to golf at River Shore next door and we also really enjoyed golfing Canoe Creek early this year in Salmon Arm and the Inn is only 45 mins away. We loved every minute.
