  The hotel desk clerk denied that I had a paid booking f He made me call website and have them fax a document to prove there was a paid booking. The male hotel desk clerk was quite obnoxious and along with the female desk clerk had a really annoying and unwelcoming attitude. Had there been any other choice and had the room not been prepaid I would have left immediately following the desk experience. The hotel itself was fine and the beds very comfortable.

  This is a horrible horrible hotel! I usually do not write bad reviews, but for this one I could not resist. We booked it for one night in Jul 2009 weekend. Hotel receptionists were not bad - they were ok. However the hotel room was horrible. We paid $* including tax and that amount of money could give us a 5 star hotel in Miami - whereas this one was just trash. Where should I start? The bed-covers were not clean/ The room was smelly/ the carpet was old and dirty and in bad shape/ the bathroom was falling apart/ the shower tray was not clean/ the faucet was old style and dirty and not working properly/ the basin was small in shape/ the wall-covers are coming out/ the toilet was so old and just functional/ The drawers were in bad shape and on and on. We were so tired and wanted to have a good sleep - however we wanted to have that night over as soon as possible and get out of the hotel in the morning. I would never ever want to step in to another travellers inn ever in my life.

  Trying to save a few bucks to stay here was a bad idea. I would definitely spend the extra money and stay in one of the inner harbour hotels. This hotel was not comfortable. The king beds were two twins pushed together and the mattresses were sagging and uncomfortable. The floor had lumps under the carpet everywhere. The rooms were small, cramped and unattractive. If I had been staying more than one night I would have checked out and found a different hotel.

  The bed was comfortable but the walls are paper thin and we heard every noise in the room next door, even after turning on the very loud air conditioner (which had only two settings that worked) in an attempt to drown out the sound.
