  Poor customer service. no closest, no where to hang clothes, smelled of fresh paint the entire time, the tub would not drain and they make an effort to clear it ...

  Poor customer service. No closest, no where to hang clothes, smelled of fresh paint the entire time, the tub would not drain and they make an effort to clear it for 3 days. parking was VERY crazy with no secure areas anywhere close. dont get me started about the bad coffee and cold and nasty "croissants" they considered breakfast. Door would not automatically close behind me when I walked in. Safety feature that should always occur. Elevator (for 4 floors) would take 5 minutes everytime. Honestly, my conditions in Iraq were better, Honestly.

  Could have been a little nicer but it was were we needed to be. they were not friendly .very loud at night .

  I picked this hotel because it was the best price with Internet in the area of Montreal that I wanted to stay, but I see now that this was a horrible way to choose a hotel. Unfortunately, I have written many similar reviews on inexpensive motels that have changed ownership to an owner who chooses to save money by NOT doing basic maintenance and simple repairs. Montreal is a pretty safe and secure city, but I still want to be able to lock my door and I had to try three rooms in this hotel before I found one where the door locks worked. Incidentally, the room I got did not have a working phone or clock radio, the remote for the TV was dead and the bathroom was filthy (and I'm a bachelor with pretty low standards). The first two rooms had deficiencies as well, other than the non-locking doors. The hotel has no parking at all and the recommended nearby, unsecured lot costs $25/day. The Internet is pretty quick and once you repeat your request clearly two or three times to the staff, they were pretty helpful.

  This was among the seediest hotels I have ever stayed at. Upon arrival. we were asked to inspect our room for damage: We found a ripped out clothes hanger,a non-functional alarm clock, a stained floor and broken curtains. These things were largely compensated by the fantastic location in the central ghetto. This is no exageration- within 30 minutes of arrival, we witnessed from our window a drug fueled battle between a man and a woman, culminating shortly thereafter with the removal of her top. As we left in the morning,we came across several used needles in the street immediately outside the hotel.

  This hotel is on a rough looking street but in a very convenient location to downtown, metro, etc. inside it is clean and updated. the free wireless internet is great. ...

  This hotel is on a rough looking street but in a very convenient location to downtown, metro, etc. Inside it is clean and updated. The free wireless internet is great. The staff were very helpful, even keeping our luggage for several hours after checkout while we continued to explore the city. The breakfast is nothing to get excited about...but you can't have it all at a low price I guess.
