  We stayed here in April and it was filthy. I would never ever set foot in this place again. Beware of the advertising photo of the entry;it looks awesome; the rest of the hotel is stuck in the middle ages...rundown, etc.

  There was a long line to check in. Our room had not been cleaned! A housekeeper nearby said she would take care of it immediately and told us the front desk should have checked with them first. Next morning we went to the restaurant for the advertised complimentary breakfast and were told they were not serving it that weekend! I called the hotel when I got home because there wasn't a manager on duty when we checked out and was told they would check into giving us all a credit for the non-breakfast and call me back. Over a week later I'm still waiting for that phone call.

  The staff was very nice but the first room we were given was very dirty. floors stained and linens very worn (appeared to be dirty). the next room was okay ...

  The staff was very nice but the first room we were given was very dirty. Floors stained and linens very worn (appeared to be dirty). The next room was okay but not 3 star acceptable. The tub drain did not work. Very very disappointed. Would not recommend staying at this establishment

  We booked the property because the hotel descriptions stated that all rooms had refrigerators & microwaves. that's false . we didn't have either in our room. should remove the statement ...

  We booked the property because the hotel descriptions stated that all rooms had refrigerators & microwaves. That's false . We didn't have either in our room. Should remove the statement that ""all rooms"" include those items because that's not true.

  I recently stayed with the Howard Johnson Plaza and was surprised at the great changes happening to the facility. They are currently upgrading all sleeping rooms to pillow top beds, the new furniture is classy and the housecleaning has improved by leaps and bounds. In addition, the restaurant food was really tasty and there was a lot of it! The staff was one of the friendliest I have encountered. I hope they keep up the good work!
