  Stayed at this hotel on a trip with a few friends. It was far more than I expected. The staff were wonderful in every way. Right in the heart of the Art District, surrounded by art galleries and museums, the perfect location for anyone looking to enjoy the art and culture of NOLA. Only a few minutes from the French Quarter as well as Riverwalk. JUST THE PERFECT LOCATION! (Close enough to get to everything, but far enough that a night on the rooftop pool/hot tub is very peaceful)

  This hotel is a 5 star hotel. The service at this hotel is at a 5 star level.Hotel is very clean and staff is very friendly and helpful . The art work around the hotel is nice i felt like i was at home.

  We stayed on the club level of this hotel and it was wonderful. The art is fun to look at and the room was clean and quiet. The pool on the roof was clean and made the trip even better. The hot tub was a little dingy, but still usable. There were plenty of chairs and deck space. The lounge provied a place to check emails and grab a snack but the hours were not very accomodating. It closed at noon on Friday and was closed on Saturday. Otherwise it was a nice added value for this hotel. On the other hand, the hotel restaraunt was not very good. The food was just okay and the prices were very high (like everywhere in NO). The biggest disappointment was that no one bussed the tables even though there were very few diners. I don't like to sit in a place surrounded by messy tables. It makes me think they don't have time to serve me, plus the window tables were not available because they were not cleaned. Overall, if you eat elsewhere you will probably have a better experience. I would stay at this hotel again. The location is within walking distance from any part of the French Quarter or casino area. We were able to get to everything we wanted to see within a few minutes.

  Just returned from New Orleans today and couldn't wait to write a wonderful review about the Renaissance Arts Hotel. We were there the four days leading up to Fat Tuesady, which is probably one of the busiest times of the year for the whole city. We were treated wonderfully from the moment we dropped off our car with the valet. The price and location couldn't be beat. We opted to stay here for $* a night instead of paying $250 at the Hilton. For someone who goes to N.O. multiple times a year I think I have found my hotel of choice from here on out. You couldn't beat the location. Easy walk to almost any where in the city. I only have one negative thing to say. . .I would worry about the AC during the summer. It didn't seem to get really cool in the room and with the hot summers, that could pose a problem.

  This is simply a wonderful hotel in a good part of town. There are two GREAT bars within 100 feet of the hotel. One is across the street and the other is just down the street. The hotel staff was polite and professional. I look forward to returning.
