  We really enjoyed our stay at the The Iberville Suites. The hotel was in a great location not more than a few blocks from the action in New Orleans. The continental breakfast and the Internet service was the the only things that were of poor quality but atleast they had hot coffee everyday. The pool and gym in the Ritz-Calton was available to us so it came in handy. I will go back to New Orleans and I would stay in The Iberville Suites.

  Rates may have been low due to the renovation work. Using two elevators was a bit much. Based on my experience, staying 5-6 times a year in this area of N.O. I felt this was the best situation of all the others. The barhroom could use a new counter and there were a few pieces of furniture that I am sure will be removed during their room renovations. Still the best bet for this part of the Quarter and probably the best rate.

  I stayed at the Iberville suites several years ago (2001) and really enjoyed it - so was excited to go back! However after our recent stay here I was concerned that the hotel isn't really keeping up on maintenance. Especially when you go to the Ritz Carlton (connected to the hotel) and utilize their services--you feel like a second class citizen staying in the Iberville vs. the Ritz. The bed was also not very comfortable. The location is close to Bourbon street and everything is within walking distance which is nice. The staff was also nice. However, if we could've stayed somewhere else with a good location for $10-$15 a night, we would have done it. Such a bummer!
