I was very impressed with this hotel. I arrived at the hotel 2 hours before the check in time and they allowed me to check in without any problem. The staff was very helpful as soon as I walked in with the wake up call, helping me find a cab for the morning, as well as my location. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel with great food and very kind and helpful staff. The rooms are nothing spectacular but far from horrible. Bathrooms are just about as clean as you could want. The bed is pretty comfortable and the room is very clean. The room also comes with an iron and ironing board, a desk to work at, a nice TV with cable, 2 night desks with lamps, and the AC is not loud enough to drown out the TV. A small little shopping plaza is across the street with a walgreens in case you forgot anything, and the neighborhood is safe enough to take a walk in. I was very pleased with this hotel and I plan to stay here again when I go down in November. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are on business.

We checked into this hotel because our home was being rewired. it was close to where we live. We would not have chosen it for its location if we were vacationing in Miami. We did not have hot water for the first two days of our stay. In conversation with others staying at the hotel they informed us that the hot water had been out for several days. What kind of hotel staff lets you check in under those circumstances. The restaurant is not good...the bar is not good.

this was a very nice, clean hotel in a safe area; not afraid to walk the neighbourhood; would highly recommend; this area was selected prior to a cruise departure from the port of miami; it was easy to get to the port from here, and did not take long to get there; excellent experience all the way around;

Single 60-yr. old guy stayed here for six days in early January, 2008. Traveller is very familiar with Miami area and was a little apprehensive about the Biscayne Blvd./123rd St. location, but it turned out to be a great site in a pretty safe immediate neighborhood: 5 minutes drive west to I-95 & 5 minutes east to Bal Harbor. Small shopping center across the Blvd. - Walgreens, Ross, etc. I found the hotel to be extremely clean at every level and my room was immaculate, with balcony facing north. Street noise is considerable on the north side ( didn't really bother me, though): would recommend the south side wherever possible. Staff members were extremely friendly: the two "J"s - Peter - Sharon - Juan, and Mr. Jay Patel. Parking immediately to the west side entrance was very handy, with security guard all night. Pool area was very up-to-date & clean, with plenty of furniture - very relaxing & pretty quiet. Modern ice & soda pop machines on each of the five floors; excellent elevator service. Will definitely stay here again on future short stays in N. Miami area.
