Located approximately 30 minutes from the Tampa International Airport, the TradeWinds Island Grand sits along acres of sugar-white beach directly on the Gulf of Mexico.

The TradeWinds Island Grand property includes a huge garden atrium and a meandering canal with white swans and Nile perch. The canal can be enjoyed on a paddleboat.

The resort offers dozens of water sports, including wave runners, parasailing, snorkeling, water-skiing, boat rentals, and sport fishing all nearby. On land are five swimming pools (including one for kids and another just for adults) and two whirlpools. Also available are tennis, a fitness center, and spa. Kids enjoy special programs and facilities. Within minutes of the resort are golf courses, sunset sails, dolphin encounters, museums, and theme parks.

Between the resorts, there are 13 dining options, ranging from elegant seafood dinners to carryout from the Pizza Hut Express.

Each guest room includes a wet bar, refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, dishware, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, safe, data port, and cable television.
