I liked the area, it was conveniently located next door to McDonalds which worked great after getting back from Paul McCartney concert @ Fed Ex about 12:30 in the morning. Only thing Crystal City probably needs is more restaurants. Hotel itself was really nice , had nice view from my room. Only thing,, maybe sell newspapers in the gift shop instead of only having newspaper dispensing machines.

One of the best choices we've ever made! Staff was very corteous and helpful. Frontdesk staff was FABOULOUS! allowing us to park our car for free and to keep our car at the lot while we took the METRO downtown. Room-very clean and bed comfortable, Massage shower-awesome! Hospital transportation also very good and prompt! Would definitely stay here again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!highly recommended:) Two thumbs up!

I loved the service at this hotel. The hotel shuttle service to and from Reagan National Airport was exceptional. I was offered cold bottled water and the drivers were very friendly and helpful with any questions I had.

July 17, 2009 We arrived in Washington D.C. at 9:00 AM and only waited a short 30 minutes before we were able to have our room. It was nice to refresh before catching the Metro into town for our visit. The front desk was very friendly and helpful in giving details of transportation to D.C. The hotel provides a free shuttle every 30 minutes to the Metro station located at Reagan Airport, which was a short 5 minutes drive, and returns to get you with a simple call. They also provide pickup at the baggage claim on arrival to the airport. The beds were comfortable and HDTV had a multitude of station choices. The room had a free WiFi, large desk, comfortable chair, variety of pillows, clean outer bed linens, and ice machine on each floor. There is another Metro stop at Crystal City which is only about 1/2 mile walk from the hotel. The one complaint was the lack of the usual Holiday Inn free breakfast. There was a restaurant in the hotel but we didn't try it. There was a McDonald's next door and we chose that for a quick breakfast before catching the train into D.C. The pool was not in service but we were too busy to use it so we didn't miss it. Although we were close to the airport we could not hear any noise on the 10th floor. We had a late flight out and they have a luggage hold area and also gave permission for a late check-out at 2:00 PM although the check-out was stated at 12:00 Noon. We were very pleased with our five day stay and the friendliness of all employees at the Holiday Inn National at Reagan Airport.
