  We attended a conference in Lugano at the last minute and these were the only rooms available in the city. Due to the price, I was afraid! But when we got there we found a plain hotel, old world style. Rooms were adequatly sized and everything was SO CLEAN! It was like they cleaned the bathroom with QTips! Amazing! The bed was comfortable. It was a bit warm and there was no air conditioning and the outside square was loud on the weekends, but somehow the charm of Lugano won out. It was so nice we want to revisit, and we would stay there again! Breakfast had many choices. The people running the hotel were nice. The internet access in the rooms was not working while we were there though. Clean, safe and one finicular stop from the railway!
