This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel, and we were not disapointed, The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, The room was very clean, The food and drink are not cheap, but we have been to other Gatwick hotels, and paid a lot more for the same item. There is a nice seating area in the hotel, and a nice garden which also has seating. The transfer bus to the airport was on time, and the driver was very friendly. I have reconmended this hotel to family and friends Joy & Dave Baker who stayed at this hotel in the 10th October 2009

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel, and we were not disapointed, The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, The room was very clean, The food and drink are not cheap, but we have been to other Gatwick hotels, and paid a lot more for the same item. This hotel should be closed by the health authorities. I am amazed that online travel website even lists it! I have actually read reviews by reviewers who have given this hotel three stars. I can only imagine that their standards are very low indeed, or that the management has at least one acceptable room in the place which these people have been lucky enough to get, this room is probably the one they show to inspectors, (if anyone has ever inspected the place) They know that when you arrive tired and late at night for a one night stay that you will put up with it rather than risk having to sleep in your car, believe me, SLEEP IN YOUR CAR it will be just as comfortable and cleaner. The place is filthy, with stuffing hanging out of the chairs in the bar. The photographs online are fraudulent it looks nothing like the photos. The beds are concaved with filthy bedclothes, everything is horrible. That they have been allowed to get away with this for years is astonishing, they are blithely ripping people off, this hotel needs to be condemned and the proprietors jailed.

I selected this hotel based on price, location near Gatwick airport and shuttle availability. After checking in I was informed that there was no hot water, but they were working on it. I was too tired to try and find another motel.
Evening meal was a "carvery" or buffet style meal. Suits me fine, but food was only average and price was very high. Water, tea or soda not included in price. Continental breakfast was also expensive and I declined.
The mattress should have been thrown away five years ago. Lumpy and sloping to the center. TV reception was not great on two channels, only five others available.
When I awoke in the morning, still NO hot water available. Had to heat water in the tea kettle and have a sponge bath type wash.
No apologies at check out.
I could not recommend this hotel at all.
