If you're looking for a cheap place to stay in Doha, this is it... haha. This hotel is only a couple of blocks from the Royal Qatar Hotel in a really congested area. A LOT of foot traffic. Parking garage is under the hotel and fairly large. The hotel is deceiving... outside looks ghetto, but once inside, it is pretty nice. A few restarants and a bar/lounge on the upper levels. The rooms aren't that great but do-able. For about the same price, this is a better hotel than Royal Qatar Hotel. I would stay here again if i was looking for the cheapest to stay that still had some ammenities. Seemed to be the hotel where all the airlines let their flight attendants stay.

If you're looking for a cheap place to stay in Doha, this is it... haha. This hotel is only a couple of blocks from the Royal Qatar Hotel in a really congested area. A LOT of foot traffic. I have lived in Doha, Qatar, for almost 2 years. I was searching online travel site only as a matter of interest for visitors. Under the LOCATION link for the Mercure Hotel is states "rail or subway" for transportation in the city. I can assure you that there is no railway or subway in the City of Doha or the entire desert nation of Qatar. There are buses and taxis and hired cars.
I do not wish to review this hotel as I have never stayed there. Therefore the ratings I entered are not valid, but I had to enter some info in order to complete this submission. PLEASE DO NOT POST. Thank you.
