The GOOD: First of all if its base on location this is the place. Far away from the weekend night and mainly noisy traffic from the Isla Verde Ave. and across one of the nicest stretch of beach in all area. Staff was very friendly and the nightlife in the roof terrace during the weekend is excellent. The view from the Ocean looking rooms is incredible worth every single penny. The BAD : All the furniture across the hotel was torn apart on corners, nicked, scratch or had white specks of paint on them. ;that happens when most of your furniture is white with contrasting dark woods. The Food was awful. Everything tasted as if it had been frozen rock solid all week long and then defrosted on a microwave. Don't order the 3 cheese shrimp and crab dip basically melted Velveeta with tiny pieces of unknown seafood in it; and at $18 dollars is just stealing your money. Also keep your glasses from the free cocktail hour 5pm to 6pm and bring your own alcohol. At $11 dollars per mix drink $14 if you like Mojitos; by your third you could have bought the whole bottle and mixers at one of the nearby supermarkets or liquor store. Also a check in time of 4pm is absurd when your flight gets in at 11am and you just want to enjoy the beach. I would stay again... after knowing how much another couple spent the night at the Hotel San Juan basically 5 min. walking distance from the Water and Beach Club... but the staff needs to take better care of the furniture.

The staff was wonderful. We were in walking distance to everything. We were across the street from the beach and a block away from the casino. There was a Walgreens around the corner and a grocery store two blocks away. We walked to different local resturants because the food is priced a little high. The hotel does not offer a private balcony for each room, but they do offer a rooftop deck that we enjoyed almost every night.

Very overpriced. Ridiculous. Breakfast for two cost $38. Rooms small, very cramped. No refrigerator. Mostly for younger crowds. Bar on top floor open to the public, very crowded. Overpriced/ Decor very nice and a little too bright. Not worth it find a condo and have it all to yourself, much cheaper.

My boyfriend and I got the best deal to PR and stayed in this boutique hotel for 5 nights. Basically once we stepped into the doors it was like we were at home (only a lot nicer looking). The staff is AMAZING!! Friendly, down to earth people especially the guys that work the door/valet service. The room was swanky and modern. We didn't mind the no balcony situation because who needs one when the beach is a step away. The overall feel of the hotel was paradise and I would stay again and again. The beach that the hotel was on was great- clean, beautiful, not too crowded. The parking situation was kinda crappy. We parked on the road because valet parking was too expensive, so just get insurance on your rent-a-car. Overall we loved it and would come back solely to visit our new friends at the San Juan Water and Beach Club!!!!!!!!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here Jan 9-11th and had a great time. Room was small but very clean. Shower was a bit weird because it didnt have a certain so the floor got wet every time we showered. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooftop was the best part of the trip.. although not many people were there we enjoyed the peacefulness and the all white decor with large beds...... awesome especially if you like to lay out and tan like me. The pool was too small and cant imagine anyone actually using it. The restaurant downstairs charged a bit too much but the food was good and so were the drinks(mojito). The waterfalls throughout the hotel could use some upgrades but for the money....its worth staying here and i'd definitely return here again. -Dani, New York City
