  We went to Oaxaca for a vacation and this hotel was actually very nice, quaint, small (only 16 rooms) and probably a pretty "elegant" place by Oaxaca standards. My biggest complaint was the lack of hot water at essentially any time of the day or night. The location is great, though (only a few blocks from the Zocalo, Cathedral, etc.). It's really not a bad place and I only give it lower marks because of the hot water situation and relative lack of amenities.
