  This really is a nice hotel. Used the workout room twice, fine. There was a strange odor in my room each day though. Not horrible and I did get used to it, but noticeable each time upon entering. Think it may have been the cleaner but too chemical smelling and not fresh smelling. There is a beautiful courtyard/seating area/fountain up front. Most parking is a sloping walk from the front door and may be a consideration for some or during bad weather. Wi-fi went out hotel-wide for one day (not good while business traveling) but they fixed it before I had to change hotels. LOTS of close restaurants to choose from. Walked to eat every night and didn't eat at the same place twice. Otherwise, a pretty standard HI Exp.

  First of all, this is a fairly new hotel, so, everything is pretty up-to-date. Secondly, it was one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in (especially for the price!!) in some time. Helpful staff, great housekeeping, wonderful beds, etc. Now, if you are planning to basically stay in the Vancouver/Victoria area, THIS IS NOT THE HOTEL FOR YOU!! It is quite a drive (45 minutes or so) from downtown Vancouver and, as is typical of Canadian highways, few direction signs from Vancouver to Langley, so, getting lost is quite easy to do. BUT, since we were so far out, we got a chance to discover some jewels we might have overlooked (Fort Langley, many wineries, White Rock, many golf courses, antique shopping, casino, etc.). We drove by some of the other hotels that are offered on the "package deals" of Vancouver and, in all honesty, really feel this hotel WAS the best for the price. This is NOT a low cost hotel without perks. A real pleasure!! Would highly recommend it to someone looking for something other than downtown Vancouver.
