This is a Holiday Inn renamed. It had a musky smell. The workers were not very helpful except for the concierge. They had hair in the tub and on the towels that were not ours! The maids did not replace the towels after taking them, nor did they replace the coffee or tea after the first day of three. They overcharged us for parking, but after it was brought to their attention, they fixed this. Would not stay here again.

I was in the Halifax Holiday Inn for 5 nights in April of 2008 for a conference in the city. This hotel is first rate. The rooms were very clean, the linens very plush and fresh. I enjoyed everything about this property: Staff, Room Service, Food Quality, Room Amenities, and Housekeeping were all there when I needed them. I will definitely stay at this Holiday Inn again. Right next to The Commons is a nice plus too.
