The crowne plaza hotel has friendly staff, service at checking in and out was quick. Negatives: The nasty hair in my bathtub !!! Outragious charges for parking in their hotel parking lot 2.50 euros per hr for customers! The managers reply , well there are cameras so it is safe parking here. The costs for the shuttle to schiphol airport 7.50 euros so it is not compementary as advertised.

This was one of the greatest hotels that I have been in overseas It was clean comfortable and a very quiet place in the evenings and mornings. The staff was gracious and so very kind one staff member even went out of his way to carry 2 americans on search of a curling iron. They even offered us a golf size umbrella on a cold windy morning that was supposed to be a rainey day Our room was very comfortable and clean. We loved it and would be back again in a minute if we ever get to Amsterdam again

We stayed at Crowne Plaza Amsterdam Schiphol and would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Every step of our stay was great, from the timeliness of the shuttle pickup from the airport (10 mins), to the courtesy of the driver, he was excellent. The checkin process and the courtesy of the staff was courteous and smooth. The room was excellent and at $*** was a bargain when you think of the exchange rate of $$ vs EE. I would have paid double the amount and still considered it a bargain. Breakfast the next day was fabulous and our checkout process was smooth. I highly recommend this property as ****

The hotel itself was great. They upgraded us to a suite because they didn't have the room we reserved. The shuttle was so slow a so full that we waited at least 45 minutes and then took a cab. So we were disappointed by this. They charge * for return shuttle to the airport which is higher than the site quoted.

This was my second stay at this hotel since I wanted to give it a second chance after my first bad experience. First stay at this hotel the rooms was incredible dirty. Even raiserblades from the last guest were still on the floor. My second stay was in a large though very outdated room. There was blood in the blankets and holes as well. The food quality was horrible. paying 15 euro for a burger which was worse than the cheapest mc donalds burger. After reporting my complains for the second time the only thing i received was: sorry. The front desk was very friendly though they seemed to be very bored. The fitnesscentre really needs an update. All the material is from the sixties and cramped in a small room. The shuttle service is very good and the drive was very friendly. Overhaul I would not stay here again since I do not like to sleep in outdated rooms with worn out blankets.
