What a wonderful experience
09/22/2008Amazing view, great rooms, wonderful service. i was surprised and enjoyed the breakfast buffet very much. conviniently located with access to a nice walk around the harbour.

Roof top pool is a top, can enjoy spectacular view. Harbourview room was good size and very clean. View from the room was also good, but it could have been better if the room was more city center side. Breakfast at Club floor is also good, has some varieties. No MTR station close by, but ferry terminal is very close, 5 min walk and shuttle bus to city center runs every 30 min. Overall, I enjoyed my stay very much. I would definitely go back.

Hotel was impressive when we stepped it. Staffs were courteous all the time. Rooms were smaller than expected (for the price that I paid), but overrall was great and spacious with the awesome oceanview, could see sunset, and sundown every night. Room service was great, except for the last couple of days, clothes were not folded but just pushed aside. I assume bathtub was scrubbed daily (stepped into room twice as room was cleaned and tub was been scrubbed). Unlike the first reviewer, I didn't get fruits daily, it was brought one time only, but who cares. Pool had a distinct smell, worse than our gym pool (it was chlorine + something else). It was a nice rooftop pool, but not deep enough to feel like you were swimming like a pro. Towels were replaced everyday but with just enough to use for the day (no extras). Only twice in withing the hotel, food was alright. Breakfast buffet was not good at all, omelette looked like a scrambled egg, food just wasn't great. Hotel may seem far away from everywhere, but if you walk straight from the hotel entrance, you will find lots of shops and eateries. There is also a laundry shop about 2 minutes walk and they charge cheaper than the hotel (about $10 for a pair of pants). Free shuttle bus from the shopping center to tsim sha tsui was available every 30 min from 7am-11:30pm. Despite all those complaints, I had a pleasant stay, the service was great, enjoyed their amenities and I felt like home. I would recommend this hotel, everyone's experience is different. It's great, trust me. I would go back.

Fantastic Hotel, It was worth every penny to upgrade to Harbour Club. We checked in on the 19th fl.the personal attention offered was very much appreciated. The food offered in the club room was excellent. Everyday there was fresh fruit in our room. The view of the harbour was out of this world. The hotel was a little out of the main part of Kwoloon but the shuttle ran every half hour so it didn't matter. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting hong Kong.
