Checked into hotel and when arrived at room, the room was very warm although air conditioner was on. AC never cooled room off. Switched to another room which was acceptable. Tried to buy a movie for the evening via the in-room TV remote control. The movie never showed up on our channel. Called the hotel attendant and she said she would reset something that would hopefully resolve the issue. After several attempts, we informed the hotel attendant not to worry about it, just make sure we don't get charged for a movie that we never watched. The hotel attendant said no worries. The following morning when checking out we re-confirmed with the male hotel manager to make sure we weren't being charged for a movie we didn't watch. He confirmed we were not being charged for the movie. Now it's September and surprise, there is a charge for a movie we didn't watch. Further, the hotel manager claims he went to our room after we checked out and verified the movie was on. Not true. Unfortunately, this Quality Suites has gone down hill. Service is unacceptable, the AC needs an upgrade, and the experience was not the same as I remembered it once was when I used to stay there from the late 90's and early 2000-2002. I'm disappointed in the experience and am hopeful the management makes the proper adjustments to improve quality and service.

The hotel was correctly rated at 3 stars. It was clean and comfortable, the rates were reasonable and the staff was very courteous and helpful. The rooms were well equipped and maintained. The excellent Metro system of the city was about a mile away and provided easy access to most of Montreal including the Old City. I would definitely stay here again.

Service Desk called in to check if we were happy with our suite within 5 minutes from when we checked in! Now that's service! Underline 'Suites' in the name of this establishment cause that's what you get- a large spacious living room to greet your guests; small kitchenette; bedroom separated from living room with doors for privacy.
