  My experience at Hyatt Regency Villahermosa was really good, the hotel has the best location in town and the food is great. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The only problem I found was about the internet fee, 15 USD per day is too much.

  The Hyatt Regency in Villahermosa was in good shape and one of the better ones in town. However, keep in mind that Villahermosa is an oil town run by Pemex, and they use the hotel for a convention center. The travel services at the hotel are outrageously expensive. $200 per person for Palanque. Also the hotel would not exchange American money of any kind. The banks in town would not either. You would do better visting Merida, and taking day trips from there."
