We travel to Williamsburg often and have never stayed at this Comfort Inn. Prior to arriving we were concerned because the price was so low we thought something might be wrong with the hotel. From the minute we walked through the door we were greeted by a friendly and helpful staff, the room was clean and comfortable and for us, the location was perfect. The value we recieved was excellent. The only problem we experienced was that the hotel was very busy and a little noisy on the weekend, but it quieted down at a reasonable time

This is a filthy, tired hotel. They have a glass window in one elevator that really allows you to see how dirty it is. The smoke smell in all the rooms is terrible. The pool is indoors and disgusting, the smell of chlorine in the hall leading to the pool burned my eyes! Beds are uncomfortable, ours had a big depression in the middle that we kept rolling towards. Shower nozzle was non adjustable and stuck on the massage setting. Old worn out television with no guides. Only two working ice machines on the first and fifth floors. Breakfast was okay, if you can get through the crowd. Recommend you go down early if you want to get near it. The restaurants on site are expensive, ask to see the menu before you go in, they will try to seat you quickly. The drive turning in to the hotel is narrow, a bus parked in the drive next to a truck and totally blocked the parking area. We circled a while before we realized we could go into the restaurant parking a few doors down and get around the back. Internet service is basically non-existent. Comfort Inn contracts out the service and will not help you, except to give you the toll free number to the service where you will eventually hang up before actually getting to talk to someone. I did end up getting service by placing my computer on top of the coat rack in the corner and standing on a chair.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and I have to say that it is by far the best hotel in town. Service and Facilities are truly 5*. The location can also not be better and the food is very delicious. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and it's right next door to ""sno to go"" shaved ice mmmm! I am looking forward to staying again at this great hotel.
