This hotel's indifferent streetside exterior, dated bare-bones lobby, and somewhat downscale location may lead you to skip this gem. Don't! Every lovely room has a beachfront balcony and our room was beautifully decorated (and I'm notoriously picky when it comes to hotel decor). Spacious (about 12'x25'), comfortable beds, attractive linens, loads of pillows, and actual water pressure (and a Shower Massage) in the bathroom. Quiet - we had neighbors but never even heard their toilet flush. Fridge and microwave in the room, plus ice machine and soda machines by the elevators. Pool with waterfalls (yes, plural) is beautifully maintained; so is the beach with plenty of chaises. Staff is great. Off-season rates are excellent and on checkout we got a coupon for an even better rate for our return visit. Lowest floor rooms have spacious tiled patios leading to steps that go straight to the beach, excellent for familiy groups. If you want to be lulled by the sound of the pool's waterfall as well as the ocean, pick a higher-numbered room on the right side of the hotel.

My husband and I traveled to PCB for our honeymoon, 8/16-19/09. We encountered no problems with anything! Sound amazing? I was amazed. The hotel had our reservation and all was good. We went to our room and found the remote didn't work and there were no ashtrays (it was a smoking room) within ten minutes of my call to the front desk, both requests were handled by 2 different employees. It seemed they had employees for every task imaginable. There was the usual: pool, housekeeping, etc but every where we looked there was someone else doing something. Exterminators, painters, landscapers...all busy doing their jobs not bothering anyone. The pool is absolutely the best..and why I chose to stay here. The waterfalls are calming to me although can be a little loud to some. The tiki bar is convenient as they do not allow coolers around the pool. It saves from running back and forth to your room. The hot tub was enjoyed by all. They didn't close the pool area at 10 as is posted but they do monitor. The breakfast is just ok, at least it's something to hold you over til you're dressed for the day and head out. Fridge, microwave, beverage cooler and coffee maker are all in the room, which is a plus for me. All rooms have a small balcony with Gulf view. We enjoyed watching Tropical Storm Claudette churn up the waves knowing we were safe. The beach could have been cleaner, but that is trashy people not the hotel. They clean up and have lounge chairs for your beach enjoyment. Under ground parking was also appreciated. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will go back.

Our second summer in a row staying here for a week. If you smoke you are on the first floor and your back door opens right up into the white sand beaches. The pool and bar was awesome. Great bartenders, however a few nights it closed early. Great location within walking distance to quite a few things. Hooters is next door and if you don't feel like driving right across the street was a Taco Bell and Pizza Hut for the late night munchies.

The Days Inn is definately not one of the new condos that you are seeing in PCB, however, this older hotel is outstanding in more ways than one. The location is perfect. The price was affordable. I paid less than $* total at the Days Inn in comparison to $600-850 at area condos. The staff was all very friendly and always helpful. The rooms were older but very clean. The floors were all tile so no dirty carpet. Towels were plentiful. The breakfast was an average continental breakfast, nothing fancy but filling. The swimming pool was great. If I had to pick one thing that was not up to par I would say it was the parking. Twice we had to park across the street and dodge traffic to cross back to the hotel. There isn't enough parking. If you don't have small children then it wouldn't be as big of a deal. Over all I would give this hotel two thumbs up and I will stay there again.

My family and I spent a weekend here at this hotel. We checked in at the very beginning of spring break. The room had a kitchenette in it. Food courts were close by and the special vehicles that you can rent was right across the street. So convenient was the staff members that checked us in. We had a 3 year old with us. And even though it was a party style weekend the guests were very cooperative so the little one could get sleep. The room maids made sure that we had enough towels and washcloths. I had a great experience and i would recommend anyone to stay. Thank you for a great weekend.
