I booked my reservation so I could attend a cheer event at the GWCC. The room was clean, comfortable, and decorated nicely. The staff was helful and The hotel is convenient to the MARTA station which allowed me to travel about town without renting a car. I was able to purchase a 3-day pass and enjoyed my short walk to/from the station each day. I'll definitely stay here again when in Atlanta!

My only complaint is that I purposely emphasized to the hotel clerk that both rooms needed to be joined together as we had two parties. She said they will be joint rooms. Well that did not turn out to be the case. I didn't even bother with arguing because i honestly don't know how else it could have been explained. Set aside from that, staff is friendly and its a happening place.

The location was pretty nice. Plus public transportation is a block away. Cost for location Great. The hotel itself could use some room remodeling. super average and old skool Tube TV. Based on what I know about Melia hotels, this one is subpar. We also had an issue about the pool and rooftop bar- it was CLOSED. Ok- but I called over the summer and they assured me that it would be open during our visit. That was #2 reason we opted to stay here. There are some places close by, better places if you don’t mind a walk thru lots of homeless people. I might stay again if I got a better rate, but otherwise there are far better options. NOTE- Trevor the concierge was very nice.

I love this hotel, it is convenient to attractions in ATL and a drug store. The Marta station is only a few blocks away so you can get anywhere you want to go from there. The pool area is i beautiful and peaceful. The staff are courteous very helpful. I will be back anytime I stay in ATL.

Staff was very friendly. Loved that I had my own outside private balcony. The only thing I did not like was that there were no flat screen TV's in the standard rooms!! Major letdown. I also DID NOT like the fact that i was not made aware that my debit card would be charged $35 for possible incidentals. My money was refunded the day after I checked out but it would've been nice to have know this was gonna happen ahead of time!!!
