We just got back from our vacation, this hotel is in the PERFECT location. The metro station is super close, and you have access to the entire city, a bike rental location is across the street, and it is worth of using at least once. The rooms are clean, spacy, free internet usage at the lobby, view of the eiffel tower. What else do you want? There are a couple of restaurants, and a great bakery down the street. Don't pay 28E for the breakfast, walk down to the bakery and have a real french breakfast. We paid about 10-15E for both of us. The area is super safe, we got back to the hotel at 1am every night. Also, go to the local supermarket (next to the bakery) and buy cheese and wine, then head to the garden in front of the eiffel tower for a picnic.

We were extremely happy with Hotel Pullman. The Eiffel Tower was 1 1/2 blocks away! The park near it is a great place to have a picnic. Although it wasn't really near many of the sights we wanted to see, it worked out well anyway. The Tour Bus was close by, so no worries. :) The hotel service was excellent. We were checked in immediately, even though there was a big group in front of us (a tour group I suppose). There was a mix up with our bags not getting to the room quickly (which we didn't know because we had gone for a walk). When I told the concierge who had checked us in, he was horrified and the bags were sent up that instant. Our French was very limited, but everyone in the hotel spoke english really well and none were the least bit bothered by our need for that. We also got great advice on things to do and things that are a rip off. I think the only bad thing is the restaurant. Not that it's terrible- it's just really expensive. For the money, you would do much better to find something elsewhere. I also think I will try to get a room with a view of the Eiffel tower...even if it costs a little extra. So, all in all, this is a great place to stay - especially if it's your first time in Paris and you sort of need help with where to go, how to get there etc... I would stay at Hotel Pullman again in a second!

This is definitely a steel box hotel with the amenities to match. However the amenities, cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff are outstanding. Check in was very easy as the staff speaks enough English to make the process painless. Room is small-ish, but our had a balcony that had a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower. Every night at 9,10, and 11 they turn on the blinking lights for five minutes - we caught at least one a night. Hotel is about a block and half away from the Eiffel Tower and the same for the nearest metro, bus line another 300m from metro. Full bathroom with bidet which some might think on the small side but very efficient and very clean. Loved the amenities, little package with qtips, face pads, nail file and orange stick and shower cap. The closet had an iron and board, shoe horn and shoe shine glove. The bathroom has a blow dryer with a short cord and a trigger feature that must be depressed (in other words you can't leave it on.) Breakfast is buffet and if not included is 28E per person - pricey but we thought worth it. Crepe bar or eggs any way you want, fresh fruit, breads, cereal, plus hot meat and potatoes in steam trays. The only really down side to our room was twin beds pushed together for a full - my hubby joked ""mind the gap""! The linens and room were very clean - loved the duvet style sheets. Multiple signs for door to alert the staff to needs Connectivity lounge for free computer use - French and English keyboards. Many eateries within a short walk all with English translation menus and friendly waiters. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

The Pullman Eiffel was located in a great area. The area is a bit pricey but you feel very safe. We walked the surrounding neighborhoods and it is so beautiful. The hotel had no air at the time. Since it was in sixtys it was fine. Seems every one in Paris thinks mid sixtys are cold. The Paris Metro system is great a little hard to follow. Though no impossible. We used it extensively. There was trains, Metro {subway} and buses all within several blocks. We picked the pass up at the metro station for 18 Euros and had unlimited usage for three days on all of them. The museum pass is a must. It will save you hundreds of Euros.

We were so pleased with our room. The room had a large bathroom and an exquisite view of the Eiffel Tower that lit up every night while we ate dinner. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. The hotel is located within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and the beautiful Champ De Mars Park. The other Paris attractions are a metro stop away. The Metro was about a five minute walk and the city bus stops were around the corner. We took the bus. It took about a day to figure out the routes and we were able to see all of Paris by bus, getting off and on whenever we found an area that looked interesting. We would definitely stay at the Pullman again. The price was very reasonable and the accomodations were first class. The hotel restaurant is surrounded by glass and you feel as if you are eating under the Eiffel Tower.
