Stayed at the Dana Hotel for 1 week on convention with husband. It was a delightful place to stay. Just enough pampering without being nosy. Would like to have ice machines more accessible, but housekeeping was happy to bring some up with just a phone call. Wonderful bath experience, wonderful bed, wonderful wonderful!!! Would stay again and again. Accessible to everything. Staff very accommodating. Doormen/valet/consierge extremely friendly.

The hotel was all that it was advertised to be. I stayed in a suite with the shower that was unbelievable. The room was very comfortable with two balconies. The staff was excellent. The location was excellent and close to everything. I would repeat that stay in a heartbeat!

The Dana is a slick and edgy new hotel 2 blocks off the mag mile. It is brand new, and once constuction is complete, it is sure to be one of the finest in town. Very modern from the room accessories to the decor. Ceiling to roof windows with great views facing N. State Street, zepplins for every room to accomodate iPods of all sorts. The people who work at the hotel are great. Extremely friendly service from the desk to the staff at Aja Steakhouse, this hotel is perfect for couples looking to spend the weekend in the city. Clean rooms, edgy shower/bath areas, and ultra comfy beds. Only hiccup was the semi-clunky a.c. unit in the room, but I slept easy after waking once. Not recommended for sharing rooms with your buddies if they are the ""prankster"" type, as there are no locks to the bath area from the main room! In all we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

The location of this new and trendy hotel is amazing. It is within walking distance of Michigan St. shopping and a short bus/taxi ride to Navy Pier. All of the hotel employees are willing to do anything to make your visit enjoyable. We used the service of the hotel concierges and found all three of them to be very accomodating and pleasant. The hotel linens, toiletries, furnishings, etc. are all top-notch. The free turn down service left two chocolate dipped fortune cookies on our bed. There is a stocked beverage cooler in the room, on the honor system, along with tempting assortment of chocolates. The free continental breakfast each morning was delicious. The ajasteak restaurant in the hotel was very expensive, so my husband and I just enjoyed coffee and a dessert there one evening. But, just across the street is a wonderful restaurant, Bijan Bistro. I had the greatest filet mignon of my life and it wasn't overpriced. The whole hotel was very trendy - with lots of different textures; wavy wood walls, corrugated sides on the outside of the elevator that were back-lighted in blue, concrete walls, orchids on each table of the restaurant, copper-colored velvet chairs with brown leather ottomans. Their web site has been updated recently to include a photo gallery. Great choice for location and ambiance!

Nick from New York Stay while you have the chance at this price, hidden gem, because its to new. Stayed in over a 100 hotels, first time I would say I couldn't spend enough time in the room. Above all the staff is the only thing that shines brighter then the hotel. Great location, glass windows floor to ceiling, never have to leave the room.
