There's one thing that I hate in the mornings and that makes my morning mood even worse: cold. And the bathroom in this hotel was freezing cold and no way to heat it up. We left the door to the room open but that isn't always convenient... And to make it even more horrific: the first day we got up at 7am and didn't have any hot water in the shower at all. We got up the next mornings at 8am and that was fine. FYI: temperatures outside were -10°C (feeling -20°C). Other than that we liked it. It was quiet, apart from the heating system which was rather loud but you get used to that. We had a room at the street but there was not too much noise. The room was clean and big enough for 3 (but we were outside all day). The breakfast buffet was nice and the service was impeccable and friendly.

07/16/2012This hotel was a great buy. it's close to subway stations, came with a refrigerator and microwave and was clean and comfortable. i would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is within walking distance of Penn Station, the Chelsea High Line and many reasonable restaurants. Being in Chelsea it is much quieter than Midtown, but only a short cab ride away. The staff was very friendly and the entire place was well kept and inviting. I liked how they went out of there way to greet you every time you entered or exited, nice touch. The room was compact, but very clean, updated and modern. The price was great, and there was nothing to complain about. This was a great find and I will be back!

Clean compact room that meets the needs of the traveler who plans to see the city outside the hotel. Super friendly staff who do their best to please. Three different subway lines all within a block or two. Street parking is a problem, so if you are drive plan to drop an additional $30+ a night for a garage.
