Beyond the courteous gentlemen that stand at the door, upon arrival I was greeted by two of the nicest ladies ever. Not a fake "how are you?"...these ladies transferred their amazing energy right to me and made me feel welcome. They were extremely professional, helpful and made me feel like they were happy I was spending my time with them. Anything I needed or asked for was no problem. As a photographer, I chouse hotels largely on aesthetics. I like to be surrounded by beautiful things at all times. I was ecstatic when I walked through the doors and it looked exactly how it does on the internet. The entire facility was spotless, the water was hot, my view was awesome and the bed hugged me, lol! All of the things I needed professionally were available without me looking for them and it was a small slice of loveliness as a working vacation. Security was top notch. I will stay at the Ellis Hotel on Peachtree Street from now on when I visit Atlanta, GA!

It is a lovely hotel! Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta and within walking distance of most attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very clean and comfortable for the most part. The room I had was small but accomodating. I thought I was in New York! I had a king size bed, but unfortunately the mattress needed replacing. It sagged in the middle and caused me to toss & turn the two nights I stayed. I also suffered with back pain for the following week and a half. I mentioned it to the clerk @ check out. I hope they change it, my room number was 805! The only other complaint was that you could hear a band playing outside late night. It was a weekend though. I would definitely stay again, but would not tolerate a sagging mattress not even for one night!

I enjoyed the great staff at the Ellis Hotel the most. I did feel that my room was nice looking but NOT clean. The bathroom had the last guests hair all over. The top bed comforter was very stained.

The hospitality and service at the Ellis Hotel was impeccable. It was a fantastic place to stay because the staff seemed to enjoy working together and were able to function as one during what must have been a stressful day with several events in town. Not everything went perfectly during check-in because the hotel was catching up from a full booking the night before, but the front desk went out of their way to accommodate us as we waited and were extremely friendly and personable. Our room was spotless and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've found at a hotel. Thank you, Ellis Hotel staff, for a truly amazing stay. They left us with a great impression of the city.
