  This is one of my favorite hotels in the world. It is not ostentatious by any means. Very modest lobby but a staff that goes out of their way to help you. Great location. Walking distance to the Marina and restaurants along the river. Right above a subway station gives you access to anywhere you want to go. Rooms are great for either business or pleasure travel. Upgrade to a suite and you will be in heaven. All restaurants are great with breakfast served at the restaurant by the pool. I have stayed here during all times of the year and have never been disappointed.

  Great quality at twice the price. we took the $* upgrade to the club floor (three days for two people) - a great deal and wonderful hotel people.

  Convenient location -- walking distance or short taxi ride to most places. Very helpful staff. Nice pool. The room was quiet and well done. We will stay at the Fairmont again on our next trip to Singapore. Internet access seemed pricey, but if you join the President Club, it's free.

  First stay was in the North Tower. The plumbing needs to be fixed. The rooms are spatious and modern. South Tower is newer and very nice. Loads of restaurants downstairs, nice pools. The Lounge offers free champagne and appetizers ever day from 5 to 8PM, which is very nice when on business. Very cetrally located. Super-friendly staff. Overall a great experience, and great value for money.
