Walking distance to most Manhatten sights

Friendly staff, free hot breakfast that was promptly cleaned/refilled when needed, plenty of restaurants fairly close and most of the tourist sights were within fairly easy walking distance. Free wi-fi with good signal at all hours of day/night. We were there in May so it was nice enough to sit outside in the mornings for breakfast as it tends to be very crowded inside every morning. We did have to eat in our room on our last day but just because of the high traffic in the lobby with check-in/check-outs. There was 4 of us so the room was kind of small but we expected that for NYC. Not really anywhere to put your suitcase to leave it accessible all the time. Would have been nice to have a luggage rack of some kind in the room. However, the AC worked great!! Housekeeping did a great job every day and always responded quickly with any request we had (extra washcloths, toilet tissue, etc). Elevators are a little slow getting down to lobby but we were on 2nd floor so we took the stairs most of the time. Overall, I would say it was a great hotel and we will definately be staying here again when we go back in January!
