We booked this hotel based on many criteria but, one being that they advertised a shuttle to the park (Universal) and when we get there we find out that they have their own private fleet of Town Cars and its $30 for one way. The supposed shuttle requires a ticket and leaves at 8:55 a.m. and no one could tell us when it comes back. So we could call a cab ourselves or use there Town Car service. We ended up renting a car since it was going to be cheaper in the long run for us. I tried to go to the gym but, my room key wouldn't work. It seems you have to pay for that too. Food and drinks at Market were reasonable and good quality. Rooms clean. Long walk from elevator to your room if you all the way to the end as we were. pools clean and friendly. Nice atmosphere.

We stayed at the Rosen Shingle Creek as a stopover on our way to the Sanibel Captiva area. WOW!!!! What a gorgeous resort! I have stayed at the Ritz Carlton Orlando before and now I never need to go back. The Rosen Shingle Creek is just as nice as the Ritz if not better!!!

While I was taken with the magnitude and beauty of this hotel, I was taken back when I saw that our tub was dirty, a dirty used washcloth was on the edge of the tub, and, the shower didn't work. To top it off, when I called about the dirty tub, the initial response was "I can send something for you to clean it." I was stunned! Then,a man shows up at the door with a bathmat! His intention was for us to cover the filth instead of him cleaning it. Eventually, we were given a different room so that we could shower before checking out. The other room was a good distance which was inconvenient.
