  The Marco Polo is an excellent, Chinese owned hotel. Beautiful, large rooms, quite a treat after the tiny hotel rooms of HK. Shenzhen is such a huge city, that it is hard to know if you are close to things. It is about a half hour cab ride from the train station. The pool looked beautiful, and next time I will bring a swimsuit. I think the hotel is only a couple of years old. I will stay again.

  The hotel was really a 5 star one. I have visited many hotels claiming to be 5 star but never being what claimed but Marco Polo is what it is supposed to be. Very clean, Nice staff, good services, easy to use internet, very good breakfast buffet with wery affordable price.
