TheHotel was nice and clean, located towards the end of the strip but a mere 5 minute walk to get into the middle of it all, or one could ride the tram up to the next 2 hotels if they chose not to walk it. Walking outside the hotel at night was nice and quiet, which was fine for me as I find the middle of the strip quite chaotic and loud. I would definitely stay at TheHotel again and highly recommend it for any first time visitors. Numerous dining choices and as for the casino, they all seem to be the same to me. TheHotel overall was classy, modern and made for an enjoyable experience to Las Vegas.

THEHotel at Mandalay Bay offers a secluded comfortable lodging experience embedded within Sin City. Every room features a magnificant suite with excellent amenities, comfortable beds, flat screen televisions and great views. The staff is friendly and the restaurants and lounges at THEHotel are inviting. There is no other place I stay in Las Vegas.

Arrived to our room on the day before New Year's Eve to find phone not working and multiple light light bulbs out. No robes and only one pair of slippers (supposed to be included in every room). Closet light switch would not shut off and shined on our bed. One wine glass short at the bar. Toilet would not flush in second bathroom and we discovered this only after we had used the bathroom. Moral of the story, wthin the first 2 hours we were there we called the desk three times. The next day the maid cleaned the bar and left us with one wine glass again and did not replenish the bath salts we had used the night before. Good news is staff was very responsive and very friendly. The manager comped us breakfast for our troubles and New Year's Eve dinner at The Mix was one of the best meals I've ever had!!! But overall, given the reputation and price of this hotel I was disappointed.
