Place is very nice, medium-upscale place to stay. It's at least 2-3 blocks from any El stop, so consider that on the 5 degree days with -20 windchills. Also, there isn't much open late (like after 10pm) nearby. But the hotel, staff, and cleanliness itself at least exceeded expectations.

Weekend was the same as Transformers filming. Hotel staff went out of their way to help us to navigate a new route to the hotel. Next day very helpful to secure a more appropriate room, originally placed in the conference suite. Side walk restaurant wonderful on a beautiful summer evening. Considering the busy jam packed weekend hotel service remained smooth and all employees helpful.

Great room with a view! Front desk staff (arrival and departure) , bar, and restaurant staff were very friendly. An extra mirror in the room would help so one guest can shower and use the bathroom and another can get ready in the bedroom. Also, when the hotel is full with wedding guests who are all leaving on Sunday, ensure there are additional dining staff to cater to the breakfast crowd. The poor dining staff made every effort to cater to the crowd, but the number was too overwhelming for the number of staff.
