I just got back from Temptations a day ago. worth the cheap price! Seems to be a haven for d-bag single guys who wear Affliction t shirts with hawaiin surfer shorts. Beds were HARD. your back will hurt, especially if you have a bad one like i do. Rooms are average size little on the small size but very nice. flatscreen lcd tv's No door for the bathroom. Beach by the hotel x. You can't swim/walk in it because its too rocky and overflowing with seaweed. Go to another beach if you want to see your feet in blue water like i did. Pools are pretty nice, my only complaint is i wish the pools/jacuzzis were heated. It was pretty cold/windy and we could only stand the cold water for 15 mins at a time. Food was pretty good considering its free (all inclusive) You have to make reservations for the nice restaurants (bring long pants for guys, dress code). The Italian restaurant was first rate! Ignore the seafood restaurant (you have to pay extra for lobster and there's no crab legs) Alcohol was plentiful and flowed like a river. Never had an empty drink in my hand for more than a few minutes because of the top notch service. Overall the service here was great. Tips: Avoid the ""welcome tour"". they will tell you its not a timeshare presentation but it is. Book a shuttle/van before you go on your trip. We chose Olympic Tours Do not book activities like jet ski/snorkeling/ etc through websites. You can haggle your prices down

What an awesome place..The totally adult atmosphere was great... You could swim or relax on the beach without alot of the disturbances at a family hotel.. The staff were wonderful. I enjoyed a massage , body scrub and facial that were to die for.. X, you rock! Thanks for a great vacation.. We'll definitely be back!

2-3 Stars maybe less. User rating is way off at 4 happy faces?!?. My experience with this place is so disappointing I will never return to Cancun. I stayed here for my honeymoon and made a huge mistake. The room is smaller than the website makes it out to be, the beach water front is likened to Texas beach front sitting between to boat marinas. Pictures of the beach are doctored on the website. If you want to see many topless old ladies, drink cheap liquor, watch free porn, and sleep in a humid sweaty room this is your place. Hot tub is an amenity with a 12USD price tag in the spa per use. Internet is 15USD for 24hrs. VIP breakfast is time share presentation. Honeymoon package is bogus , they never brought us anything, or upgraded our room ( they made a copy of marriage license). Mini fridge was empty not even turned on. Bed spread and pillows were stained. No clock in the room. Had to ask for conditioner every time. Bed was harder than the floor. First night we arrived they put us in a room right over the main bar which had blasting music till 2am. The main bar is right by the lobby in the middle of the resort. Main dinner buffet is poor quality food, the fancy restaurants are OK, but the Chef special (lobster/steak) is 20USD charge...is this all-inclusive? NO! There was about 8 stray cats roaming the grounds begging for food. Drinkable tap water? smelled putrid! Get real more infomation on temptaion forum on their website. Words of Wisdom for Cancun ATMs in shops, pharmacies, gas stations may expose you to identity theft ( 700 dollar lesson) , nothing is free, learn Spanish, tourist information are time share reps.

It was a nice, modern recently renovated resort that was Adults only. Perfect! It was good to get away from the kids for a while. It wasn't a huge property so it was good to walk around especially in the summer heat. It's located right on the water which was stunning. Only a couple of things, 1) the humidity was so high that the tile floors were slippery. There was a de-humidifier in the room that helped but it would fill up before the 24 hours when the cleaning gal would clean the room each day. 2) Someone threw up in one of the pools and it was not cleaned up for 2 days although others swam in the pool ignoring it(?), Once it was reported it was cleaned up but it was gross while it was there. Open bars may lead to that. WOtherwise we had a really great time and I was happy with our choice with so many places to choose from. We went out into town to party at the clubs, it was safe as can be. Also you don't have to rent a lock for the safe at the front desk like other resorts, it's electronic. Watch out for Time Share salespeople(""the Breakfast Tour"") although you get a gift for going and listening. Also always haggle your prices on the beach or on the street. They'll come down.
