A party all day long. This result is very adult oriented and is not for the tame. However, if this is what you are looking for you have found the right place. If you are looking for a peaceful relaxing time, look elsewhere. Restaurants were good, but not great.

My husband and I just returned from our second trip to Cancun's Temptation - we enjoyed it even more than the first time because we knew what to expect. This is the key to the resort - if you're hoping for something else, you will inevitably be disappointed. Temptation IS: One of the most diverse places I have ever been - all shapes, sizes, home countries, and ages (21 and up) are there. Some of these diverse women are topless. It's just not a big deal. I usually don't do it and I never feel uncomfortable. The resort can be noisy. If you want to escape the harder partying folks you can go to the quiet pool, which, aptly named is where you can hear a conversation and relax. The people watching is PRIME. Many of the activities are adult themed *ahem* the Miss Temptation contest involves a pole dancing contest and fake self pleasure noises, and the F bomb is thrown around. You don't have to participate, but it can be hilarious to watch. The service from the hotel and restaurant staff is one of the top reason we come here. Everyone is SUPER nice and goes WAY out of their way to make sure you are happy. The resort IS NOT: a place to expect excellent food. The service and presentation is great - the quality is average. My favorite place to have dinner is the Asian restaurant (the buffet is generally my least favorite, but you don't have a choice for breakfast. Oh well - you never have to hassle about paying the check at the end of the meal.) Temptation is also usually not the place to be a group of dudes cruising for groups of hot topless chicks, although there are always groups searching them out. The women here are generally already with a partner, and many of the topless ones are not the hot chick type. *Note* Some people have said that they've been asked to "swing." You may be approached. A "No thank you" is just fine. Admittedly, Temptation is not an ultra high end, luxury resort for a quiet getaway, and is not for the super conservative or faint hearted. But, if you can go with the flow it is really fun and as relaxing (or not) as you want it to be. We've never felt over crowded - you will want to make your partner get down to the pool or beach to reserve a spot with a towel. We've never felt unsafe, even going outside the resort (We LOVE the easy access to the Isla Mujeres Island), and they have some good options for excursions (although you should look with care - the excursions are actually not done through the resort). I had a GREAT scuba diving experience with the guy who gives free lessons in the sports pool. The entertainment crew at the resort have a mantra: "Nobody knows you, and nobody gives a (poo)" As in, who cares if you drink a little too much, or get a little crazy - we're all here to do the same thing and nobody is judging you. If this sounds like fun, Temptation is for you. If this is offensive or low brow, you should absolutely go elsewhere. As for us, we'll be back.

We have stayed at several adults only resorts and this one was by far the worst I have ever stayed at. Although the room was nice and very clean with good maid service and mostly friendly staff, the pool area was filthy. People smoke in or around the pool and throw their butts in the pool or just put them out on the side of the pool and build up little piles of cigarette butts and ashes that get blown into the pool. Just NASTY! Some people also sit at the pool bar all day drinking heavily and NEVER get out to go to the bathroom so you know where they are going. Also there are a lot of single guys there in their late 20's or early 30's who think every woman wants them. Very aggressive and not willing to take no for an answer. The pressure to get you to do the timeshare tour is unrelenting and takes a couple hours out of your day. Advice - NEVER buy a time share. You end up paying far more over time than if you just paid as you go. Believe me, I have one and am sorry I ever bought it. If you want to stay at a really nice hotel in Cancun - try the Royal. It is 100 times nicer than Temptation and is adults only although none of the topless views which is a bummer.
