One of the most comfortable beds I've ever encountered at a hotel. Woefully short of elevators, however, especially when hosting as many conventions as they seem to do. The remote control in our room didn't work and wasn't fixed when we reported the problem, and we actually ran out of toilet paper, which is unforgivable. Friendly staff and the location was not bad- short walk to 6th street but far enough away to be quiet. I might look elsewhere next time, however, before staying here again.

I would consider this a standard Hilton conference center hotel, in an excellent location. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make check in process smooth and pain free. Nice amenities standard for a Hilton. The room rate for the weekend was high, comparable to the Ritz or W, but it was a UT game weekend, which I'm sure was a big factor.

Although the room was basic, it was very clean and the bed was fantastic. The accessible shower actually needs some work. It was pretty small, and if you sprayed the water even slightly towards the curtain, the entire bathroom flooded. The only way it wouldn't make the whole bathroom floor wet was spraying close to the wall, which obviously was not very comfortable.

09/20/2012I always come back to this hotel whenever i go to austin. great location around all the good bars and activities, great staff, great pool, great bar/ restaurant!
